Our Colleagues at the Fextralife Team Launch a Fresh Hub for Mods

The customization landscape is increasingly bigger or as in demand as it is today. Modders who built fresh gameplay elements for iconic titles such as Skyrim and Baldur’s Gate III have landed significant positions in gaming. Full-fledged projects have been built using existing foundations. An individual even managed how to make Silksong somewhat more accessible.

Truly, in this era, everything appears achievable with a vision, coding skills, and a little gumption. Therefore, it’s expected that more of the industry is aiming to assist that continuously expanding modification scene, and that our friends from Fextralife are joining the effort. Recently, the wiki site revealed it would expand its offerings with the FXMods system, a fresh modding hub created for users who desire a quick, free, and unlimited customizations to improve their preferred titles.

FXMods promises to be a cost-free service with no download speed throttling, instant access, and connection to the larger Fextralife wiki system, which intends to permit developers to gain more exposure as players find their content among other content.

What is the goal for this new platform? I asked the Fextralife representative Matt Hook, who has been deeply involved in leading the launch.

“What we're doing here is really trying to put the users first,” Hook says. “We want a excellent journey for the gaming community to be able to obtain custom content promptly and conveniently, and we want to compensate mod creators and members of the community with recognition and incentives.”
